During the discovery call, we’ll discuss your space, design needs, timeline and budget. We’ll also walk you through our design process.

After the consultation, you’ll choose one of our two project offerings: Studio WHITE or Studio RED.

Studio WHITE projects are fast-paced and require minimal construction, whereas Studio RED projects offer custom cabinetry, millwork, and furniture design.

Programming

During this phase, we’ll send you a questionnaire that will help us tailor your space to your child’s interests and needs.

We’ll ask you to measure and photograph your space too. If you would rather leave the measuring to us, you can book our at-home survey service.

Design

We’ll present you with our design concept, which includes a floor plan, key elevations, preliminary color scheme, furniture and finishing materials.

Revisions

We want to make sure you’re completely satisfied with your space. This meeting is intended to address any comments or concerns you may have and make any necessary corrections. If you selected the Studio RED package, we will also use this meeting to refine custom cabinetry and furniture details as well as present the final design in 3D rendering or detailed color elevations.

Approval and Documentation

Once all revisions have been approved, we’ll prepare precise drawings and specifications for construction and/or installation. We’ll document final furniture selection, finish materials, and fixture choices.

This concludes the design phase.
